Who says New Yorkers aren't nice?

Long day with way too much time on the phone fighting with Travelocity. We'll explain in detail tomorrow. For now, we have a nice bed with a view of Manhattan...

We started the day with breakfast at Niagara Falls. Words are not enough to describe the magnificent panoramas and astounding amount of water that goes over those falls.

We did a lot of driving from the falls to New York, going through the states of New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, before arriving in New York city.

 On the way we stopped at a FABULOUS American diner--Stella's Diner in Syracuse, NY.

 D had breakfast; L had lunch. And we'd go back in a heartbeat!

Finally we arrived in New York and realized that driving in the Big Apple is a BAD IDEA! But it is great to be here.

We had a rough arrival--some technical and service issues with a booking site. Luckily, there were some really nice New Yorkers at the hotel and they helped get us a roof over our heads. Kudos to Fairfield Inn--a great welcome to New York.
