We woke up and made our way to a company that focuses on THE TOURIST and we purchased a three-prong pass. A hop-on, hop-off bus that drives us around Nashville; admission to the Country Music Hall of Fame; and a tour of Ryman Auditorium.
The Hop-On/Off bus was about 1.5 hours and drove catered to both the history buff and the music fan. In one particular part of the tour, there is a park that holds a time capsule for every single Tennessee county and we are sure Moore's county holds Jack Daniels Whiskey. There is a lot of amazing history. We went to a great restaurant called Arnold's--real Southern food.
Then, we made our way to the Country Music Hall of Fame. After the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio, we were extremely impressed with the entertainment and organization of the country version. Have you ever seen a silver, gold or platinum music record? Well, we saw hundreds of them. It amazed us how much memorabilia different artists donated to make this museum successful--records, trophies and medals. Finally, on our way back to the car, we were drawn into Tequila Cowboy (a bar) with an incredible voice that we were sure was a recording. Dawn Bayer captured and held our attention for hours. We stayed much longer than we expected and came back to our hotel at almost 8pm.

Our food today was from the uniquely Southern places, Arnolds (known for its serving of 1 meat item and three sides) and the Waffle House (known for its cheap menu of fast food). We both enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and dishes unique to each place.
