Day one: planes, trains and automobiles 一日目：乗り物天国

Day one of the vacation was full of transportation! Our lovely neighbour drove us to the nearest SkyTrain station with our bags and waved us off. Two SkyTrains later, we arrived at YVR.  お休み一日目。友達がスカイトレイン駅まで車で送ってくれた。一回だけの乗り換えで、１知事間ちょっとで空港に着いた。

And YVR gets major kudos for having separated food waste options in their rubbish bins.　ヴァンクーバー空港はリサイクル・システムがよくなってきた。残りの食べ物も別。

We boarded our plane to Dallas-Fort Worth Texas for a 3-hour layover.　最初の飛行機はダラスへ。私は爆睡！

Strangest sign I've seen in Dallas so far, but I haven't been here long...ダラス空港でみた看板。ちょっとわからない。。。

Decided to do dinner Texas-style (I am probably only going to be in Dallas once in my life). I had tamales...夕飯はやっぱり大きすぎるけどがんばった！

And L had the biggest chicken fried steak you have ever seen...サイズ、びっくりでっしょ！ 

Next flight is to Chicago and there the road trip begins...次の飛行機はシカゴ行き。それで、車でする長旅が始まる。。。
